Not all weeds are created equally. We use a combination of herbicides for control of not only broadleaf weeds but grassy weeds as well. Broadleaf weeds tend to show up in the early spring and late fall. These weeds would be dandelions, clover, creeping charlie and a number of others. The specific herbicide we use is formulated to control hard to control broadleaf weeds. Grassy weeds such as goosegrass, crabgrass, dallisgrass are more of a summer weed. The herbicide that we use to control these weeds is also formulated for hard to control grassy weeds. Of course with a proper fertilization and mowing schedule the need for herbicides to control weeds is reduced.
