Application Plan

  • Visit 1: We apply an E-Blend fertilizer that has 2% iron. Iron helps to promote a dark green color. This visit is to get some nutrients into the soil as the grass starts to come out of dormancy.
  • Visit 2: This application is a broadleaf herbicide. The herbicide we use is specially formulated for hard to control broadleaf weeds.
  • Visit 3: Slow release nitrogen fertilizer along with dimension pre emergent.
  • Visit 4: Grassy weed herbicide spray. It is vital from a control aspect to spray any grassy weeds that are present when they are still young and actively growing.
  • Visit 5: Slow release nitrogen fertilizer along with grub prevention.
  • Visit 6: Spot spray. Where as the other applications are broadcast meaning the whole lawn is treated this application is narrowed down to the rogue weed if there are any present.
  • Visit 7: E- Blend fertilizer and Aerification/Seeding. The same E-blend fertilizer from the spring is used for this application.
  • Visit 8: This application is a broadleaf herbicide application. Any broadleaf weeds that have popped up after the pre emergent has run its course will be handled with this application. It also helps to limit the number of broadleaf weeds in the spring.
